Angkor Wat, Cambodia; Tibet; and Australia & Norfolk Island

Oh how just I missed blogging! I missed scanning postcards, and taking pictures of everything sent. Hello everyone! Thank you so much for being loyal in this blog.

Today, I'm going to feature three postcards that I just received today. The mailman arrived while I was sleeping.

So the first postcard is sent by a very nice backpacker from Indonesia. I found her name on Twitter. Thank you so much @sheilakartika! It was very nice of you. And it is very nice of you that you even sent a postcard to me, despite of the horrible pickpocket situation O.O!

I hope I can also go to Indonesia sometime :)

This postcard is sent by sky_wang from his trip to Tibet, China. Thank you so much for this lovely card! I know a person who went into Tibet, and did an amazing thing there.

This postcard was given by a nice lady from Australia. I think this was sent from Norfolk Island Maxicard, but the postcard is from Australia. Thank you to Sharon (scubaduba) for this UNESCO Card ;)
This card features the Old Military Barracks at Kingston, Norfolk Island.
Kingston is a part of the World Heritage Site.

She even has this Kangaroo postmark.

Good Morning Everyone!

Today, I am posting this maximum card that I received last Friday. For the month of October, I got my first piece of mail from a penpal from Netherlands. The day after, nmugirl, sent me a Birthday card! She was very sweet to remember my birthday last October 1st.

Thank you so much Ate Esther for sending me this very beautiful card :)

P.S. I also want to share you sometime the Maximum card of the Royal Family ;)

Bread, Winnie the Pooh, Maxi Card, SUPERDOME,Target, Hong Kong, Cantabria, Salvador, Owl, Handmade, and Bible

Lately, I have been really busy at school.. and thus, this blog has not been that maintained just like what I used to do during the summer.

I will be cutting back on doing swaps to save money for a DSLR (which is a requirement for my course). However, I will do my best to at least update once a week.
OFFICIAL CARDS

Received this card before from Finland. ^^

moongrl(Belkis) sent TR-65184 which travelled 9,118 km for 22 days.. in memory of her mother. I like the 2011 Europa stamp she put.
muccard(Dietmar)  sent DE-950146 which shows a page of a handwritten Bible from 1430. It travelled 10,184 km for 15 days.
kajo sent FI-1126120 which shows a maximum card from 1985 Liechtenstein! So cool :) This card travelled 8,827 km for 12 days.

SUPERDOME
New Orleans, Louisiana
Dominating the skyline of downtown, this $163 million dollar architectural masterpiece is home to the New Orleans Saints. The elaborate facilities and decor make it a place worth seeing.

A Maxi Card from Finland

A very sweet user sent me a Maxi Card! It was from the year 1997, yet the card just looks so new! He was really so nice to read my long profile.
Let's conceal his name through the name of Tito Kari (Karra-44)

Ahhh... reflective photography

What a feasty surprise of stamps! Most of them were dated in the 1960s! I wasn't even born that time.

There were even messages both in Finnish and English!

What a warm person!

FI-1084002 travelled 8,944 km (5,558 miles) for 17 days! The same with the one from The Netherlands :)
