Tanzania, London Olympics, Owl, Domokun FBs, Angry Birds, 3D Card, Liberation of Bursa

Hello everyone :)

I have been receiving good mail lately..

Got a book sent by a very nice person from England, and it's a favorite of mine!

I also have received some cards.. but what I'll show here in this post are past postcards.

1) First, allow me to show you the last 5 unscanned cards (which are now finally uploaded)

This card is a 3D card sent by  WernerTitz
from Germany :)  It says I <3 Family & Friends, and I <3 Kurztrips

This card was sent by Nataly from Ukraine, who's a fashion designer. Card was designed by Natalia Derevianko, and was entitled "For You..."

GB-404547
This card was sent by jbwainwright from England :))
He's so nice to send a card from the London 2012 Olypmic and Paralympic Games

My first Angry Birds card :)

This is my first Angry Birds postcard, which was sent by Marianne from Finland :)

This owl card was sent by Yi-Chun from Taiwan :) Thank you so much for this card!
Those train stamps are also great!

2) Next are other bunch of postcards that I have received:

A nice swapper sent me this Postcard from Malta :)

I got the card from a swap. Her message was written in Turk, so I wasn't able to understand it at first. But the card is celebrating the "Liberation of Bursa". On the stamp is Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

Tammy (nanatam) from the USA sent me this notecard for the Favorite Scripture Swap, and she even included a sheet of stickers! Thank you :)

And then we also have this card
which was sent by Trisk from Brazil :) I won it from a lottery in the forum.

A very nice Taiwanese swapper sent me this IKEA favorite of mine for the AR-Postcard Swap #8.

3) Here's a new postcard from a new country! Hoping I could be pals with this guy!

He sent this postcard inside a brown envelope, and was from this place itself - Dar Es Salaam Tanzania. This postcard made me change my perspective more of this country. Thank you!

4) One of my pals from Thailand, Nathan, has replied me in his letter... with very cool stamps!

5) And here, you can find two of the new friendship books I made. They're much better to look at when they're taken of a picture, instead of scanning. Hehhee... If only I have border stickers, I could probably make these more beautiful :o

and here's one that I still got to send

Aren't Domokun so Cute?

So that's my update for the meantime. When I'm not that much busy with studies, I'll try to post more. I am especially active in blogging when it's around April to May as that's my vacation. Hehehe...

Cheers!

PS. This card from the Netherlands was also part of my favorites: (4 times)

Some postcards received...

P.S. This blog post was made on August 12, 2012. It just happened that I wasn't able to publish this blog post.

Hello everyone! I have missed putting up pictures here in this blog. It has been a long while since I have shared to you what I have received.

After having school, I find it difficult to update ever since school has started again. But nevertheless, I'm happy that I'm able to share to you the postcards I have received... and some mail that I have received.

1. That's a Chain RR card.
2. The Postcrossing Map card was sent by a nice postcrosser from Russia. Thank you very much Tita Anna (kabarat) for this nice postcard : D It was so nice of you to send a card back.
3. That small card is a RAK card from choke. Thank you so much for this nice card! : D
4. The shoe card was sent by a nice bookcrosser. Thank you very much pumpkinpussycat!
5. That beaver card is the card I got from the swap I hosted, Random Postcard Swap #13.
6. That art card is sent by WRITE SHOP ROBERT from his lottery, "Post a Photo Lottery (perpetual)". Thank you so much!

1. I got my first Paris card, thanks to my friend, Ms Annick Jouan, who I have been swapping for a long time now.
2. The Nana card is from a kind Japanese postcrosser. Thank you very much for this anime card :)
4. The Aztec Incident card is a lottery card, sent by the generous Taxingwoman from Canada. I think her friends wrote a book about this.
4. That Kotovasiya card is a private swap together with SweetDreams. Thank you for helping me with this card! This was a favorite card!

Both of these postcards was sent by my mom's classmate in high school. Thank you very much Tita Aissa :) I always enjoy postcards sent by people from their travels. Hoping one day I can also visit the places you had visited :)

These bookcrossing and address labels were sent by MyssCyn in honor of MaryZee. Thank you very much for them! I'd love to learn how to print address labels sometime.

This postcard, magnet, and the map was sent by glenystasmania from Bookcrossing. Yippee. If it weren't for the magnet that she has sent, I wouldn't have any interests in collecting magnets (my new budding collection).

I always like to participate in Travelling Notebooks. And so far, this is the 3rd Travelling Notebook that I have participated. It belongs to

Big Package of Friendship Books, Hanseatic City of Lübeck, Tsarkoye Selo

I was calling my school today because of some questions I have regarding my enrollment, and while I was on the phone... Mr. Rudy Amaya, the postman (and now you know his name) gave these..

That big package from Malaysia makes me excite... while that white piece of paper makes me so nervous.

Nervous because I have another Parcel Notice that I have to claim. (-__-)
I have Four of these in my hands, and I should claim them as soon as I can. Each parcel that I have to claim costs Php 40 or around a dollar. I could  have used the money to send 3 postcards or a letter in Europe. Well so much for that...

I believe I have posted one like this before, but I still want you guys to see:

Now that I have my own postal ID, I don't depend anymore to my nice postman for his signature. I used to make him sign these notices so I can get my parcel... not anymore! (*^▽^*)

So for our first postcard, here's a card sent by Nordbaer from Germany. He hosted the "FIVE years of fun" in celebration for his fifth anniversary in the forum.
He gave away Five Surprise Prizes, and drew another five participants who'll get a written and stamped postcard.

He got me a new card for my UNESCO Collection. *(^O^)*

This card came from Anna (Anchuta), and shows Tsarkoye Selo... St. Petersburg. This card was sent through Walltype (#1)

Just love that stamp...the texture seems engraved : 3

Meanwhile, this is the insides of the envelope sent to me by Ate Ashley (verlustangst). It has been a long while since I got a thick pack of mail. Weighed this one out, and it was around a lumping 300 grams!
WOAH for me...

Thank you very much for these! I'll make sure they get passed soon. (Hoping you do well at work!)

Lots of friendship books and label bags here.

There's also one friendship book there made for a certain individual in the Philippines. I'm so happy that I finally saw another one again! I don't see Filipinos swap these friendship books lately, but anyways... I think that fb has been travelling for around 8-10 years.
Better return her full FB now to her.

And just recently, I was able to contact her via email and facebook.. (whoo! good thing she has an email addy), and saw that she's happily married now, with a son in the UK. :) Awww..

BTW, I'm giving away some FBs and bags to Filipino individuals who's into penpalling, or who would like to see what friendship books and label bags look like and be able to pass them up.
Just leave a comment, and I'll prepare it while I still have time in my hands.

Shakespeare, Jetoy, Acapulco (Mexico), National Geographic, stamps,

I made a trip to the post office again, because I am about to drop Caroline in the mail. I failed to do so. But still I sent the following:

  • A late birthday card to my young cousin in Australia
  • A postcard to a my brother who's in Pampanga..
  • An official card
  • Two envelopes with three postcards each going to Singapore for a private swap

Well, I saw this postcard around my postcards, so I thought of scanning and featuring it here.
I received this Shakespeare postcard sent by a nice bookcrosser, from UK. Thank you Anne-Elliot (Kim Lange). She was the one who also sent me my first Penguin Book (in my favorites) postcard :)

For Friday's mail, I got these:

A Jetoy Card from a private swap from Emma (CYF). Thank you Emma for sending me this postcard, and for the lengthy message. You write great in English : ]  It's in my favorites, and was favorited 16 times.

Tita Lynette (Biker) sent me DE - 1369350, a nice lion postcard (inspired from my profile).  I find her and this card cool! My first National Geographic card. She sent a separate note via PM, and sent this inside ann envelope together with a business card and a Dutch stamp.
This card travelled 10,257 km for 18 days.

Another envelope of stamps from pumuckl. This is brickfield's stamp bag, and I must say... they're pretty awesome! Saw rare countries like Rwanda and Antigua. I tried scanning the envelope, but I think I forgot to save it. Mr. Ulrich sent an envelope with nice stamps, and a nice postmark.

I saw this postcard right now. My sister mentioned to me that it was also in the pile of mail that I received last Friday, but I guess I didn't noticed it.

This card, RU - 909490 is from Russia, sent by Veronika (nika_kre) and travelled 8, 648 km  or 5,374 miles in 46 days.
