This is another late blog post, but I'd just like to share to you a fellow swapper's blog:

The writer, who's Singaporean by the way, wrote quick reviews about the blogs that she has visited, and this site is one of them :)

Well for the mean time, here are some pictures of the mail that I have sent for the month of June:

Postcards, and an aerogram..

These are the friendship books that I sent for 50 grams fb swap. The one with the Domo kun is mine.

I really like how this envelope turned out. I hope she enjoyed the very beautiful stamps that I have put on her envelope.

Fbs, and penpals..

So basically, that's it. These week, I have been receiving postcards, letters from pen-pals, and friendship books from here and there. I also got Filipino friends swapping with me :)

I got a new friend from Cagayan de Oro, and another one from Visayas. :) They're older than me, but I'm happy :) 

Also received very awesome mail from Miku of Japan! I got the fbs that you sent today! Thank you so much for registering them! I really appreciate the effort and money. Going to pass them on soon!

School has been very occupying lately, and here I am.

Do you think I should open up another blog? I'm thinking about it.... 

There are other blogs here and there. I wonder what will by my cutting edge??

June 3 - 7 Mail

In connection to this post - Monday Mail - 4 Envelopes
Okay, so this is what Monday's Mail insides are the following:

It's a small card by the way, it just looks big.

These are the stamps sent by Ana from Portugal.

and the friendship books sent by YankeeUnicorn from the US

June 4, Tuesday... I received two parcel packages from our postman. 

The first one contained these items:

These were items from a swap called "Mystery Envelope". 

These are the items that I get, because most likely.. they were the heavier ones (postage costs).

The Pink Notebook, Earrings, Soap, and decotape were from the Netherlands.

The Candy w/the badge & magnet, and the soap were from Australia.

I really enjoyed those earrings :)

The second package came from Slovenia. Funny though, as I cannot remember anything for a swap from there. As I opened the greatly packaged mail, I tumbled to see two pieces of napkins.

And as I read the sender's letter, I was greatly touched and moved by what she wrote. Apparently, the sender's mother sent these to make me smile! I really was touched when I read the letter, and it was received with great love <3

 

That's a bird cross stitched in a brown napkin. 

This was the lottery prize that I got, and far from all, this one is I really got treasured because I saw the effort in it. 

This one came on Wednesday, June 5.. and the sender was from Canada. Thank you Kayenderes!

I think I got this one on a Thursday (the bottom card). The top card is a card received way back ago, from Thailand. And the bottom is from my postcard pal, Mme Annick from Vire, France.

Then this one arrived on a Friday, June 7. They are friendship books sent by Dee Jaye, from the US, and she sent me a few light extras to use :) Thank you for sending them!

These were the outgoing mail I sent. Most of them were postcards, and the ones that has envelopes with stamps contain friendship books inside. 

I really liked how that cute long envelope turned out. It's going to an American :)

SENT ITEMS: Friendship Books and Penpal Letter to Netherlands

 These are a couple of friendship books that I made for myself. It's my first time to use those embellishments (which were sent I think by Jackie Moreno from a RAK). I haven't seen border stickers in my country, so I only use what I have in hand.

On the above picture, you can see the grainy picture of the fbs I made. Bottom is a much clearer one. (I just like the grainy pic)

As for this one, it's actually the items I sent for a swap called "10 Fbs". These are going to the USA. I have also added excess sticker bags as I know that they need to get on moving.

Here is my penpal reply letter to a friend in Netherlands. There's a long story on how we met :)) Hello M!

Those two postcards needed to get on rotation, so I sent that together in this letter. She was a participant. And, I've used a special "Mama Sita" souvenir sheet on the envelope.

As for this one, actually... they're excess bags and friendship books. They have been stuck with me for long, and need to get them on moving! There are lots of bags there such as

ATC Paper Bag, Surprise Bag, Sticker Bag, Memo Bag, Goodie Bag, Colour Bag, Label Bag, Nice Bag, Sticker Bag, and more I think...

Friendship books here..

I actually sent 14 fbs I think. The one with the Teddy Bear and the Halloween FB didn't got included.

I would also like to post the pictures when I sent them in their envelopes, but the pictures are in my dad's phone. Well anyways, the following were posted on May 17, 2013 - a Friday, at night time. But the post office was already closed, so it'll start its travel on Monday, May 20.

Hello guys,

Just dropping by again. I kinda missed blogging about the mails and letters that I receive. There were loads of great, generous, friendly, people there who sent awesome mail.

I would love to scan out some cards, but the scanner and the laptop nowadays are sometimes unavailable. I mean, whenever I scan out, our laptop gets glitches. So I rarely do that now. I might use my phone to post out pictures here.

As of the moment, I would like to thank my penpals who have been palling with me for one year :)

Oh, and there are three penpals that I do miss.

What else, hmmm... 

I want to show to you the mails that I have been receiving. But yeah, when I'm able to blog, I'll go go go.

Bye bye Caroline... the stuffed bear

Today, Caroline, the toy that I have hosted, is finally going back to Germany. It has been a great adventure on being her host. I was preoccupied lately with stuff, and didn't managed to send her quickly... but at least, I still got her on a nice adventure. She stayed for almost 6 months! Sooo long.. Here's a picture together with the other stuff that I sent (as my way of saying sorry as well for making her wait for so long)

A shawl, a pen, an air bag, some postcards, her diary... and a set of Philippine coins which are not included in the picture.

Meanwhile, I also tried sending via surface mail today. I sent a birthday card today to Janice from the US, who's birthday is still in December. Currently, I am experimenting surface mail. I have experimented Surface Air Mail... and now surface mail. Wondering how long it will arrive. My guess would be 3 months.

Here are some postcards that I have sent:

I have included there 3 Chain RR Cards, but I wasn't able to send them. I'll probably send them next time. 

The lighthouse card over there is Janice's card (see picture above)

Most of them are official cards. That Pochacco letter goes to Clea, a new friend of mine whom I will get to know more about.

This is an aerogramme that I sent to Abra_Kadaver from Germany. I really had a hard time picking on what postcard to send to him. Since he mentioned that I can also send a letter, I just picked sending one to him instead. This is the back of the aerogram.

and as for the mail received.... I got two today:

One is from RBC Ministries, who always sends me good reading materials. What I found amazing is that, whatever I am facing right now... the booklet they send always seem to fit in my situation. 

They always use stamps, so I'm also happy. I have cut these stamps, and send them to the stamp RR that I am part of. I find it nice whenever I receive Philippine mail with commemorative stamps.

Kudos to the post office in Greenhills!

There's another new card here sent by Juho, a grandfather, one of the most active Finnish senders, and a postcrossing supporter from Finland. He sent a Moomin card, with a matching Moomin stamp. Another card for my collection : D

FI-1433518 has travelled 8,894 km for 10 days. Finland really has quick post.

I sent him a long message expressing my thanks and how he reminded me of my past granddad, and I feel so blessed that he replied.

Toivon kaikkea parasta sinulle! He said. 

That means "All the best to you!"

 He even ended his message with the title "Lolo" before his name.
