Just as Promised... the packages from last time...

just as promised, i just want to show what I got from the packages....

well, this first one is from Finland, and it's filled with friendship sheets, books, and bags of all sorts. 

i DIDN'T MANAGED TO TAKE A SHOT OF THE INSIDES AS i HAVE PASSED OUT MOST OF IT ALREADY... 

tHANK YOU VERY MUCH TO riita/marika from Finland! I don't exactly remember why you sent this...

(just edited: I just saw right now, that there's a note... Okay, now I think I remember =) Thank you very much for them! Happy swapping ^.^

tHIS ONE CAME FROM mS KUMIKO UKAI, AND SHE ALWAYS SENDS NICE FBS THAT SHE MADE. she even included stickers in it. This is the second time that she sent me out a nice package =3

meanwhile, this package is from the I HEART MAIL ART FOR APRIL. mY PARTNER  IS FROM aUSTRALIA, AND SHE SENT A NICE ENVELOPE WITH BUNNIES! I CAN SEE THE EFFORT SHE MADE FOR THIS SWAP. SHE EVEN INCLUDED A NICE TYPEWRITTEN NOTE (WHICH I MISS A LOT), AND LIP SMACKERS!! O.O

We don't have lip smacker's here in the country, so I really appreciate it a lot! She has sent me three! thanks for spoiling ;)

For this one, it's sent by a nice lady whose username goes by devilyn. this is a rak she offered from the forum.

This green wintery package came from timdani, for the "MYSTERY ENVELOPE 18". You get as many items as you want, and replace them with the same number and value.

Parcels and Cards

Our Internet connection has been down lately... so I haven't been able to post what I have been sending and receiving. Well, last week... I have received these cards:

Received on June 5, Tuesday from seeing who made a private swap with me in exchange for a birthday card for her friend. So sweet :)

The following day, June 6, I got this card from my regular postcard swapper, Mme Annick from France. She sent me this postcard... which is in my favorites! Thank you so much <3

For Monday's mail... which was June 11... I got these lot:

A Korean Periodical, Two Postcards, One mail from Joyce Meyer Ministries, an envelope... and another parcel notice.

This postcard was sent by kirjakko from Bookcrossing... aww. She has went to Berchtesgaden, Königssee, and Kehlsteinhaus  in or almost on the border of Germany and Austria. How cool is that! Thank you for sending me a postcard!

This postcard is a from Suzanne1804's project: "receive a card from a student and send one back"

The host is a teacher, who wants her students to learn and enjoy writing good english sentences. I have participated in her project before (I think this is the second time, or the third?), and always enjoy it.

On the back, a student named Reno, 13, and who likes to play the PS3,

 mentions that this is the place where he lives. 

This just makes me realized that I love to participate in helping people with their projects ^0^

June 11, I really cannot miss this chance to go to the post office in Quezon City... where my parcels are held. It's because, one or two of my parcels will be returned if I don't claim them by this day.  June 12, is the day where we celebrate our Independence Day, and by then, offices are closed.

Claiming the parcels, the guy mentioned that my payment for them was incomplete. Puzzled, I asked why??

And it's all because, I have a 7TH PARCEL to claim!

(UBOS PERA... tsk tsk) Money Gone.

Before I show you guys what are the 7 lucky parcels that I receive... here are the contents of that envelope... the one in the middle of the Korean periodical, and mail from Joyce Meyer.

You take out as many postcards you like, then replace the same amount. 

Going to send them next to EnchantedKittenz in Canada.

Big Package of Friendship Books, Hanseatic City of Lübeck, Tsarkoye Selo

I was calling my school today because of some questions I have regarding my enrollment, and while I was on the phone... Mr. Rudy Amaya, the postman (and now you know his name) gave these..

That big package from Malaysia makes me excite... while that white piece of paper makes me so nervous.

Nervous because I have another Parcel Notice that I have to claim. (-__-)

I have Four of these in my hands, and I should claim them as soon as I can. Each parcel that I have to claim costs Php 40 or around a dollar. I could  have used the money to send 3 postcards or a letter in Europe. Well so much for that... 

I believe I have posted one like this before, but I still want you guys to see:

Now that I have my own postal ID, I don't depend anymore to my nice postman for his signature. I used to make him sign these notices so I can get my parcel... not anymore! (*^▽^*)

So for our first postcard, here's a card sent by Nordbaer from Germany. He hosted the "FIVE years of fun" in celebration for his fifth anniversary in the forum.

He gave away Five Surprise Prizes, and drew another five participants who'll get a written and stamped postcard.

He got me a new card for my UNESCO Collection. *(^O^)*

Meanwhile, this is the insides of the envelope sent to me by Ate Ashley (verlustangst). It has been a long while since I got a thick pack of mail. Weighed this one out, and it was around a lumping 300 grams!

Lots of friendship books and label bags here.

There's also one friendship book there made for a certain individual in the Philippines. I'm so happy that I finally saw another one again! I don't see Filipinos swap these friendship books lately, but anyways... I think that fb has been travelling for around 8-10 years.

Better return her full FB now to her.

And just recently, I was able to contact her via email and facebook.. (whoo! good thing she has an email addy), and saw that she's happily married now, with a son in the UK. :) Awww.. 

BTW, I'm giving away some FBs and bags to Filipino individuals who's into penpalling, or who would like to see what friendship books and label bags look like and be able to pass them up.

 Just leave a comment, and I'll prepare it while I still have time in my hands.

Bye bye Caroline... the stuffed bear

Today, Caroline, the toy that I have hosted, is finally going back to Germany. It has been a great adventure on being her host. I was preoccupied lately with stuff, and didn't managed to send her quickly... but at least, I still got her on a nice adventure. She stayed for almost 6 months! Sooo long.. Here's a picture together with the other stuff that I sent (as my way of saying sorry as well for making her wait for so long)

A shawl, a pen, an air bag, some postcards, her diary... and a set of Philippine coins which are not included in the picture.

Meanwhile, I also tried sending via surface mail today. I sent a birthday card today to Janice from the US, who's birthday is still in December. Currently, I am experimenting surface mail. I have experimented Surface Air Mail... and now surface mail. Wondering how long it will arrive. My guess would be 3 months.

Here are some postcards that I have sent:

I have included there 3 Chain RR Cards, but I wasn't able to send them. I'll probably send them next time. 

The lighthouse card over there is Janice's card (see picture above)

Most of them are official cards. That Pochacco letter goes to Clea, a new friend of mine whom I will get to know more about.

This is an aerogramme that I sent to Abra_Kadaver from Germany. I really had a hard time picking on what postcard to send to him. Since he mentioned that I can also send a letter, I just picked sending one to him instead. This is the back of the aerogram.

and as for the mail received.... I got two today:

One is from RBC Ministries, who always sends me good reading materials. What I found amazing is that, whatever I am facing right now... the booklet they send always seem to fit in my situation. 

They always use stamps, so I'm also happy. I have cut these stamps, and send them to the stamp RR that I am part of. I find it nice whenever I receive Philippine mail with commemorative stamps.

Kudos to the post office in Greenhills!

There's another new card here sent by Juho, a grandfather, one of the most active Finnish senders, and a postcrossing supporter from Finland. He sent a Moomin card, with a matching Moomin stamp. Another card for my collection : D

FI-1433518 has travelled 8,894 km for 10 days. Finland really has quick post.

I sent him a long message expressing my thanks and how he reminded me of my past granddad, and I feel so blessed that he replied.

Toivon kaikkea parasta sinulle! He said. 

That means "All the best to you!"

 He even ended his message with the title "Lolo" before his name.
