THE ART OF BLACK FILM
Caldonia (Astor Pictures, 1945)
Jazz and rhythm-and-blues star Louis Jordan periodically left the bandstand to make movies. Caldonia, an 18-minute extended short film, made excellent use of Jordan's outgoing, charismatic, and mildly manic personality. The film became enormously popular and is Jordan's most famous.
(Just had a research about Louis Jordan.. since I didn't know him)
