Monday Mail - 4 Envelopes

INCOMING MAIL

So this was yesterday's mail. I wasn't able to go to my internship yesterday, but these 4 pieces of envelopes which were handed to me by our postman, made me smile (even just a bit).

For our first envelope, our friend from Canada sent a lovely card inside. This was for a swap. I just looove those stamps she used. And that bear over the corner also felt like a stamp (but it's not).

Here's the back side.

Next is this penpal letter from Anna-Mae, a new penpal friend from Thailand.
And this what makes her envelope cool! It has its own design. "Bo Sang" Chiang Mai

This is the pretties of all, as it was very cutely designed. When I first held it out, it felt like a postcard, but it's not... because there's a little bumpy like feeling in the middle indicating that it has something inside.

I would just like to thank the sender, Ana Isabel from Portugal, who sent me this very lovely piece of mail. If you're going to ask, what was inside....

well they were postage stamps!
She had her note posted outside the envelope. Heheheh
Thank you so much for your generosity!

And this baby came from US. There were friendship books.... and a lovely 3 paged letter from her. I really appreciated the effort.

I wasn't able to take pictures of what was inside them. Too bad... but there were cards, letters, friendship books, and postage stamps. I just realized that they were much better to see if you also get to know what was sent.

Well anyways, look out for more posts of mine.

If I have time, I might be able to post out what their contents are. I also have a post tomorrow, so watch out!

Thank you for reading :) Comments are very much welcome!

This Chain Card was the card that I returned back to Flamingold. I feel bad about putting definitive stamps... but anyway, I just feel funny because the local post office even cancelled out those stamps that are not even from the Philippines : p

Last Mail for 2011

I haven't been updating here in this blog... mostly because of the scanner hasn't been working, but now it works!
              YAY!!

Before showing you guys the last piece of mail I got, here are some random mail I got from my stash that I would like to share.

'Nobody could call Mr. Tod "nice". He was of a
wandering habit and he had foxy whiskers.'
From THE TALE OF MR. TOD by Beatrix Potter

Got this postcard from a private swap from

The next card is one of the most unique postcards that I have received! And it's all thanks to Treksek and her lottery.

and here's the message behind...

This postcard came all the way from

Eesti/Estonia

Green is the Color of the Postcard I have received from a Swap from Canada.

and here's a Favorite of Mine from France

Nouvelles Images, and was favorited 63 times.

Thanks to Mme Annick for sending this card to me! Oh you don't know how you made my day :)

I wasn't able to keep track of my favorite postcards, and thus, I think, I'm going to restart for 2012 about the favorites part.

I'll be cleaning that up.

And of course, one of the most nicest thing I have received is a Christmas Card on December 23, sent by Kuya Joe Blaza

Sent on the 19th and Received on 23rd... He's just in another city, a ride away from my place. That took 4 days to travel.

THE LAST PIECE OF MAIL

Most likely, it's a penpal letter from Poland.
I wonder who's it from?
Hoping I would get a new friend :)

Have a Fantastic 2012, dear Reader!

Hebrews 13: 3

So, I got this on Friday... and her letter is one that I always anticipate.

In Hebrews 13:3, it says

"Remember the prisoners as if chained with them, those who are mistreated, since you yourselves are in the body also."

We should pray for those people who are being persecuted because of their faith in Christ! How I realized that I was so blessed because my nation is a Christian one.. and I praise God for that!

Sarah's Letter

I have been thinking of Sarah's letter. Sarah is my penpal from Canada. I think this is her first letter for me in the year 2011.

Sarah is the longest letter writer among my penpals. In this letter, she wrote 8 pages! How cool is that :]
