French Mint Stamps, Laos, Fifi Lapin

TW-536110 travelled 1,152 km in 14 days and was sent by winniepoohbear. I just got this scanned today, so this is why I am featuring it.

For today's mail, I received the following:

A postcard from Morning2 for our private swap. This is the second card that I received from her, so I'll be sending her another card.

Next is from a private swap from Ms Cheerful, who I got acquainted thru facebook. She was generous to offer Laos postcards : ) This is the newest country that I received after how many months. Thank you very much for this opportunity!

And the last piece of mail for the day is from a batchmate of my mother in high school, who works as an engineer. He sent me 6 mint souvenir sheets from FRANCE! You don't know my expression when I opened that envelope. I felt like a child :3
Thank you Mr. Herman Leuterio! Sabi ng nanay ko, ang sweet niyo daw po. Hindi nga niya  aakalain na magpapadala kayo :D Napakagandang surprise for the day! LIKE

Just realized that the mail I have to send is piling up. Going to make a trip to the post office tomorrow. Thank you for your time reading this. Feel free to make comments.

This Chain Card was the card that I returned back to Flamingold. I feel bad about putting definitive stamps... but anyway, I just feel funny because the local post office even cancelled out those stamps that are not even from the Philippines : p

Getting back...

I have always wanted to post here now and then, but it has becoming difficult for me to post entries especially that I have to scan the postcards that I receive.

Anyway, this was the mail that I received last May 8, Tuesday.

Fifi Lapin in London (TW -536110) was sent by winniepoohbear from Taiwan.
That cute card (UA - 255263) was sent by Ninchik.
and that envelope you see there is sent by Suvi from Finland. It's filled with sticker bags, label bags, and other bags like surprise bags and cute items bag.

Meanwhile, I got this envelope on May 10, Thursday from a private swap. Inside are 6 postcards related to air mail :)

These are the Friendship Books and some sheets that I sent for the 50 Grams FB Swap #2 to BlueBelle of IL, USA.

I actually have more mail received, but these are the only ones that I have pictures of. I'll try to add more pics later. Thank you for your time reading this :)

From a Hiatus... the First Post in 2012

Hi everyone! The three first months of 2012 has been really busy for me, especially those are the days where my professors gave us exams, projects, and other group requirements.

Anyway, I would just like to show you some random mail that I got before, and after. I tell you... there are lots, but somehow, it's kinda difficult for me now to show them all to you.

First, let me show to you these postcards sent by CaptainSoul, the generous postcrosser who offers a postcard for free to those who request. He sent 5 postcards in an envelope, with the 5th postcard sent to him back written and stamped.

Next will be these postcards sent by a Bookcrosser.. from her trip in Rome.

Next will be two postcards I received from the swaps I hosted in Swapbot... the Random Postcard Swap series. Both of them were from Finland.

This one is a UNESCO site, as according to the sender.

Meanwhile, I got this postcard when I saw her information from a Friendship Book. Since I only have one postcard from her country, Luxembourg, I decided to email her... and it was the first time that I have emailed someone in a friendship book. We swapped postcards, and I asked for a UNESCO one.

Pretty beautiful for me :)

The Logos Ship also docked in Manila, Philippines sometime before April... and I got to snag three postcards. There were actually 6 different designs, but I only got 3 since I have no more spare money left.

Lastly, there was this lottery that I won in the postcrossing forum.. and when I got the envelope, I saw this very unique postmark, which I must really post here. (Thanks zeroday) He got this Mailer's Permit! Soooo cool! He can personally cancel his mail.

That's all for now, folks. Hoping to feature more next time.

Last Mail for 2011

I haven't been updating here in this blog... mostly because of the scanner hasn't been working, but now it works!
              YAY!!

Before showing you guys the last piece of mail I got, here are some random mail I got from my stash that I would like to share.

'Nobody could call Mr. Tod "nice". He was of a
wandering habit and he had foxy whiskers.'
From THE TALE OF MR. TOD by Beatrix Potter

Got this postcard from a private swap from

The next card is one of the most unique postcards that I have received! And it's all thanks to Treksek and her lottery.

and here's the message behind...

This postcard came all the way from

Eesti/Estonia

Green is the Color of the Postcard I have received from a Swap from Canada.

and here's a Favorite of Mine from France

Nouvelles Images, and was favorited 63 times.

Thanks to Mme Annick for sending this card to me! Oh you don't know how you made my day :)

I wasn't able to keep track of my favorite postcards, and thus, I think, I'm going to restart for 2012 about the favorites part.

I'll be cleaning that up.

And of course, one of the most nicest thing I have received is a Christmas Card on December 23, sent by Kuya Joe Blaza

Sent on the 19th and Received on 23rd... He's just in another city, a ride away from my place. That took 4 days to travel.

THE LAST PIECE OF MAIL

Most likely, it's a penpal letter from Poland.
I wonder who's it from?
Hoping I would get a new friend :)

Have a Fantastic 2012, dear Reader!
